itsjustmusic is a bunch of mystery musicians producing a range of rock/soul/blues/pop songs and instrumentals spanning from the light-hearted to the more serious. Indeed so mysterious are these guys that they all vanished when it came time to photograph them, so for the time being we have had to settle for a photo of their deserted recording studio.
When asked to describe their music lead singer Bobby stated "I guess you could say it's rock, but I think it's more than that. Some of our songs have a sort of retro pop feel to them for example, whilst others may have a more prog-rock feel. Please never ask any of our band members to give our music an overall genre - we all find it the hardest thing to do and each of us will probably give a different answer - so let's say it's just music and you either like it or you don't".
Their first album "From The Never Years" has been available since mid August 2015. There are eight songs featured and all were originally composed in the late 1960's and early 1970's specifically for Never, a semi-hippy English rock group of that era. All the songs have been digitally recorded in a modern studio and brought up to date arrangement wise.
Their second album "Almost Love" available from October 2016. There are ten original songs of which the first seven on the album were composed in the late 1960's and early 1970's, and the last three were written between 1985 and 1995. The first song "Cindy More " was originally in the repertoire of The Planets (who later renamed themselves as Plush Velvet) a popular South East England (UK) dance band in the late 1960's and early 1970's, and was performed live many times during that era. None of the other songs have ever been performed live by a group before.
